Sophie Danes
Sophie attended
the University of the West of England where she
obtained a degree in Geography and Environmental
Studies. She started her career with General Accident
Residential Lettings in Bristol (later bought out
by Countrywide plc). Sophie transferred from Bristol
to London and joined John D Wood & Co. in 1999;
working in head office as a Management Negotiator,
responsible for the maintenance and management of
her own portfolio of 80 properties. After 6 months
Sophie was promoted to Senior Management Negotiator,
then in 2001 Sophie was promoted to Manager. Her
daily duties include the overseeing of a team of
8 staff where she assists on the more complex issues
and ensures all managed properties meet legal requirements.
She also enjoys the general interaction with many
hundreds of landlords, tenants and maintenance contractors.
