Customer Care Letting a property can be an anxious time for a Landlord whether the property is his own home or an investment unit. John D Wood & Co.’s experience helps to guide their clients through the entire rental process helping them to optimize the performance of their asset.

Given that most of our Landlords are busy, demanding and successful people they require high standards of service at every stage of the rental process whether it be during the negotiation of a tenancy or keeping them up to date with market developments.

Similarly, many of our tenants will require looking after in the same way. Building a reputation of resourcefulness and efficiency within the marketplace can help maintain a constant flow of rental enquiries for all of our branch offices, especially from many of our corporate tenants who can easily look to one of our competitors if they feel that they are not being well served.

Throughout the rental process, legislation that has been introduced to ensure compliance and fairness for both landlord and tenant also governs the lettings workplace. Our staff, as well as acting in accordance with current legislation, have a duty of care to both landlord and tenant and should treat each with an equal degree of consideration although ensuring that we serve the interests of our client, the landlord, as far as possible.
