| Bridgfords Ltd, formerly J R Bridgfords
and Sons was established in 1832 in the centre of Manchester
as accountants specialising in land and property. Over
the years the emphasis of the practice changed to include
the management of a large portfolio of estates within
Cheshire and Manchester.
The history of the firm since 1918 is more easily charted
with the establishment of offices at Wilmslow and Prestbury
during the 1940’s.
The company progressively increased its network of
offices and in1984 became part of Countrywide plc. In
1998 Bridgfords returned to the centre of Manchester,
opening a new office in Albert Square.
